How to Easily Customize Your Feldherr Bag

Our bags and boxes are designed to be easily equipped with matching foam inserts. Thanks to our simple system, you can instantly identify which inserts fit your chosen product.

Easy-to-Understand Sizes
Our foam inserts and storage boxes follow a logic similar to paper formats:

  • HS (Half-Size): Comparable to the proportions of A5
  • FS (Full-Size): Comparable to the proportions of A4
  • DS (Double-Size): Comparable to the proportions of A3

The item numbers of our bags and boxes start with HS, FS, or DS, indicating the base size of the product. Similarly, our foam inserts carry the same abbreviations, making it easy to identify which insert fits which bag or box.

Foam Insert Heights
The height of our foam inserts is specified in millimeters and can be found in the item number, e.g.:

  • FS035A001: Full-Size foam insert with a height of 35 mm
  • DSMEYK050BO: Double-Size foam insert with a height of 50 mm

For raster foam inserts, remember to add 10 mm for the base. Example: FS025RS + FS010B.

Combining Inserts: Flexible Customization for Every Bag or Box
Our bags and boxes offer maximum flexibility when selecting foam inserts:

  • FS Bags or Boxes (Full-Size base): You can either use one Full-Size insert or two Half-Size inserts. Both options fit perfectly into the 345 mm x 275 mm base area.
  • DS Bags or Boxes (Double-Size base): These can hold two Full-Size inserts or four Half-Size inserts.

Important: The two stacks on the left and right should have the same height to ensure your models are stored securely and stably.

Example
The storage box FSLB150 can hold Full-Size and Half-Size inserts. You can fill the box with foam inserts up to a total height of 150 mm.
