• The Battle Map Tiles from the core game and the booklets are placed on the foam topper.

Every Hero like Aragorn and Dwalin and every servant of evil like Orcs and the Warg Riders receive customized compartments. The precisely fitting cut ensures that the miniatures do not slip and remain in their compartments even when riding atop barrels in the enchanted river of Mirkwood.

Simultaneously, the soft foam ensures that any delicate parts, like the Wargriders' slingshots or Gandalf's staff, are protected from damage. When you paint your figures, you can also make sure that the colors are spared from scratches and abrasion.

You can neatly store all figures except the Oliphant in the two lowest inserts. Additionally, two large compartments remain free for you to use for your two siege towers.

The set comes with two more inserts for the bulk of your game material. Here you'll find enough space to store the remaining markers, game plan pieces, game cards, and the miniature of the Oliphant. Seven compartments provide enough space to neatly store all cards, such as the favor and terrain cards. The compartments are designed with finger-width cutouts to make it easy for you to remove the decks. All cards fit with sleeves.

The two large compartments are used to store the Journey Map Tiles, larger tokens, and the hero cards.

Place the foam topper on the top tray. Finally, you can place the battle game plan pieces and the booklets on top of it.
